We have had reports of cyber criminals imitating court telephone numbers (“spoofing”) and demanding that citizens pay money for fines or fees in cases involving relatives. These calls are not valid. New Mexico Courts will never call citizens to ask for payments of any kind.

Second Judicial District Court Overview
The Second Judicial District Court is the largest court of original jurisdiction in the State of New Mexico. The Court has approximately 350 employees. Due to the number of cases filed and the complexity of the cases managed, the Court is diversified in divisions to best meet the needs of the public.
